York, Maine— York Hospital Hospice is the latest and milestone 75th recipient of a monetary gift from Partners Bank’s Employee Donation Program. Holly Spitznas, Front-Line Manager at Partners Bank’s York branch, was selected to designate the recipient of the $1,000 donation for June, 2022.
York Hospital Hospice provides compassionate medical care and support services for patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Their expert staff offer physical, emotional, and spiritual care for patients as well as grief and bereavement support for families and caregivers. York Hospital Hospice is also one of only two not-for-profit hospices providing care for the greater York community.
Spitznas can personally attest to the importance and quality of York Hospital Hospice’s services. “I wanted to choose an organization that was personal to me, and when considering, York Hospital Hospice really stood out as they were a wonderful blessing to my father-in-law and our family during a very difficult time,” she shared. I made this designation in my father-in-law, Thomas Spitznas’ honor.”
Partners Bank President and CEO, Blaine Boudreau, says of Spitznas’ designation, “Through the most trying times in life, hospice provides comprehensive care not only for patients, but for their loved ones, too. We are grateful for Holly’s thoughtful selection and to be able to contribute to a non-profit that provides such impactful support to our community.”
