York, Maine— Partners Bank has agreed to donate $2,247 to the York Region Chamber of Commerce to purchase three new computers. Initially, Partners Bank contributed to the Winter Farmer’s Market in York. However, the event was canceled due to rising COVID-19 numbers. Instead of cancelling the donation, Partners Bank was happy to find another need at the chamber and agreed to increase the sponsorship to cover for three much-needed new computers.
“This was a great opportunity to think outside the box and find a way to support a great organization during these troubling times,” said Partners Bank President and CEO, Blaine Boudreau. “Giving back to the communities in which we serve is part of our mission. The COVID pandemic may stop us from getting together in groups from time-to-time, but it does not have to stop us from supporting our community.”
